Happy Pi Day=3.141592653...

The only Pi Day of my life!  3/14/15 9:36:53!  Us nerd's favorite holiday. Anyone celebrate or make any pies?
I just came back from a Pi Day party for Science Olympiad members. There were so many different types of pies. Pasta, taco, spinach, chicken pot pie, and mashed potato pies for main course. And then cookie, chocolate, pudding, and pumpkin pies for dessert. Pies everywhere I look! Afterwards, we just played Cards Against Humanity and Empire.
I also painted the Pi digits on my nails. Just one hand because I'm not that skilled to do nail art with my left hand. I used a toothpick and a stippling motion to create the numbers.

Rodin Museum

I've never heard of Auguste Rodin before I went to this museum, but I've heard of his famous works, like The Gates of Hell and The Thinker.  I didn't even think that there would be a whole building dedicated to his works.  The Gates of Hell decorated the entrance of the building, towering over me.  The Rodin Museum mostly contained sculptures of hands and busts of famous people.  I didn't take many pictures, just the ones that were super interesting to me.
My sister and her friend took me to spend the morning in Philadelphia.

I enjoyed the texture and detail of this Minerva sculpture.

These two pictures were taken in the Free Library of Philadelphia.

Snow Day #2 & Day Off #3

These two days were the first snow days of the year! We've had a few two hour delays, but classes weren't very productive during those days.
I had to miss school on Wednesday because of a field trip to the Science Olympiad Regional Competition.  The roads were very icy, so the competition was delayed by an hour. I had a lot of fun participating in my events (Bridge, Green Generation, and Write It Do It).  During the Awards Ceremony, I was super happy that my partner and I won second place in Green Generation.  My school won second overall and we're advancing to states!  When I got home, I was wiped out from my long day and didn't get to finish any homework, so I was extremely glad when our school had a snow day on Thursday.

Day 8: The Final Grind Begins

Today honestly did not feel like a Friday because I didn't have cohort. In other exciting news, it was the last day of my Global Asia re...
