Merry Christmas!

Wow! Christmas of 2013 will make great memories.  A lot of decorations, food,  presents, and traditional Christmas songs!  So let's start with the tree.  Our Christmas tree fun and playful, with colorful lights and ornaments of all kinds.  This year, my family placed an angel on top.  Below the tree, with all the presents, we always like to have cute decorations, like snowmen on a sled. Enough talk, here's a picture.

This year, I received a lot of gifts from my family and friends.  This is everything I got this year.

Starting in no particular order, just look at how much nail polish I got!  Those were mostly from my sister and mom because they know about my obsession with colorful nails.  I got a whole package of food from one my friends.  Another gave me that mug with all that Ghirardelli chocolates, the lotion, and Eos.  The chalkboard mug is a brilliant idea; I have always wanted a chalkboard anything.  Plus the lotion and Eos smelled absolutely wonderful.  I'm also loving that stand-up picture frame, which I can't wait to use and decorate my room with.  The little makeup package in the center with silver eye shadow and purple lip gloss will be a great addition to my makeup collection.  As you may guess, the blaring red socks were from my parents, and I love colorful or patterned socks.  Finally, last but not least, the jewlery--an Express bracelet from my friend.  Gold and purple with a bow! I'll probably be wearing that every day.  And a necklace with a broken heart charm to be shared with my beloved sister.

Holiday Manicure

It's almost Christmas, so I decided to paint my nails with a festive color.  I was trying to come up with a design that would stay in style for all of winter and not just the holidays and thought a sparkly blue would fit the requirements perfectly.  I combined 3 colors and the result was this gorgeous shade.

It's just so sparkly!

Darkish blue with teal holographic micro-glitters and teal and silver mini-hexes.

Here are some ideas on naming it:  Sea Crushed
                                                              Dreamy
                                                              Alice
                                                              Blujeweled
What would you name it?

Hanging Out At the Mall

So it's finally Winter break, and this is the perfect time to go hang out with my friends.  My friend and I decided to go to the mall, and we aimlessly walked around for two hours.  Malls are great for bonding time. I forgot to eat lunch before, so we went to the food court and both ordered cheap yet delicious Chinese food.  We didn't go to any stores except for the Sephoras.  Yes, my friend and I went to both Sephoras. I'm not sure if this is available everywhere, but there was this amusing center especially for us children where we could test try all the nail polishes on plastic sheets with nail outlines.  We spent a lot of time there, and spritzing too much perfume on testers.  Instead of smelling aromatic, I reeked of perfume.  Well at the end of the day, I had bundles of fun; plus I did share of exercise for the day.

Be Grateful

Turkey, gravy, stuffing, and cranberry sauce!  So much delicious food to choose from!  Just don't forget to be grateful for everyone and everything you have.  Remember that some people out there may not be fortunate enough to celebrate Thanksgiving with a scrumptious meal. You're one of the lucky ones. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Rorschach Day

Happy Rorschach Day celebrating Hermann Rorschach for inventing the inkblot tests used in psychology!  I love looking at them and figuring out what they are.  There are no right or wrong answers, and it's cool to find out what other people's perspectives of the inkblots are. Here's some for you to ponder on.

What do you see?

I've realized most inkblots are symmetrical.  I wonder why.
I see two aliens reading with a nightlight between them.

Autumn Pictures

I just changed the layout of my blog to match the autumn sensations outside.  I love watching the leaves fade into yellow, orange, and red shades in the fall.  There was one tree that stood out to me especially because of its vivid red leaves I had not seen before.  It was so beautiful I decided to take a few pictures of it and just being in the mood, some more scenery.

This red is so captivating!
While I was at it I decided to take some more photos, so here's one of some wild berries. They looked delicious with their luring coats of shininess, but too bad they weren't edible.

I'm sensing red is the theme here.

I got a little creative with the leaves that fell and made a little ringlet of the prettiest ones I found. My favorite leaves would be the top 12 o'clock one because of its deep red tone and the bottom 6 o'clock one because of the lovely orange to yellow ombre.

Each fall color is unique.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is most definitely on my Top 5 Favorite Holidays List.  Every year I get a workout I would never get at on the treadmill.  It was like an endurance test to see how long I could last.  I bustled through about 150 house in and received a lot of candy.  After 2 hours of trick or treating, I went back home and counted 354 pieces of candy!  That's definitely an increase from last year's 100 pieces of candy.
My pile of candies :P Delicious

Of course, before leaving the house, I needed to leave some decorations behind, so I carved two pumpkins.  One original and one of my choice.  The pumpkins were so hard to gut and carve, but that's probably because I don't have the tools for it.  When I went trick or treating, some of the house had some very detailed pumpkins.  Mine are simple, but they are awesome!!!
This is my original pumpkin, just a regular 2 eyes and a smile.  I found out the if you apply Vaseline on the pumpkin, it preserves the pumpkin and prevents it from going moldy.  That's why this pumpkin is shiny.

This is supposed to be a...Minion Pumpkin!!!  I heart minions!  They are so adorable.  This one was a bit more work than the other because this one was more ripe, so it was harder to gut and carve.
I can't wait for Halloween of 2014!

Hello!

Welcome to my blog.  It is mostly going to be about fun and random occurrences in my life, but sometimes there might be a tips, reviews, ideas, and more mixed in.  A little about me is that my name is Chelsea, and I just started high school, so I thought it would be an awesome idea if I kept all the events that happened to me throughout this time period recorded in a blog.  My hobbies are reading, playing volleyball, swimming, sketching, and collecting stamps.  I love to paint my nails in my free time and write poetry and short stories. So now that you know what I like to do, let's get this blog started!

Day 8: The Final Grind Begins

Today honestly did not feel like a Friday because I didn't have cohort. In other exciting news, it was the last day of my Global Asia re...
