So I was studying for my Biology review quiz while listening to Spotify, and I got to a song that I downloaded but didn't really remember how it went. As soon as I played it, I got this teary and heartwarming flashback to three years back when Tap Tap Revenge was still popular. I remember playing the game with my sister who had just came back from her first year of college, and I was still adjusting to her lack of presence. One of our favorite songs was "Hurts Like Heaven" by Coldplay and we played it constantly. She would comment on how I had a great sense of hearing, when in reality it was just a mixed combination of beginner's luck and practice. So when I heard this song again today, it brought back a memory of a great time I had with my sister.
It is extraordinary that music can dig up memories from the past.
